Doctors, dentists and wellness practices

This list holds dental practices, orthodontists, pediatric clinics, eye and ENT specialists, chiropractors, a flat-fee primary care clinic and a few wellness practices such as Ayurveda and nutrition counseling. Most are in south Charlotte, Pineville, Matthews and Concord.

Being listed here says nothing about quality of care. Before you book, check that the clinician is licensed: the North Carolina Medical Board and the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners both run free public license lookups, and South Carolina has the same through its Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. Ask whether the practice takes your insurance plan, and whether a new patient visit needs a referral.

Dental offices are the largest group here, in Pineville, Steele Creek, Matthews, Concord and south Charlotte. Three practices focus on children: Concord Children's Clinic, The Children's Clinic in Indian Land and Carolinas Pediatrics in Huntersville.
