Lord Venkateswara (Balaji) in Charlotte

There is no Sri Venkateswara temple in Charlotte. The Sri Venkateswara Temple of North Carolina is in Cary, about two and a half hours east. In Charlotte, Trimurti Temple Devasthanam on Beatties Ford Rd has Venkateshwara as one of its presiding deities. Its own calendar lists a Sri Venkateshwara abhishekam on most Saturdays at 11 AM, and a Srivari Kalyana Mahotsavam on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 10:45 AM. Call 980-219-7556 to confirm, since the temple does not post daily hours.

The Hindu Center, Trimurti Temple and the Shirdi Sai Temple all arrange priests for gruhapravesam, Satyanarayana puja, homams, weddings and naming ceremonies; Trimurti posts its rates on its own priest booking page. What are the Hindu temple timings in Charlotte?

The Hindu Center of Charlotte is open 8:30 AM to 9 PM every day. The Shirdi Sai Temple in Indian Trail is open mornings and evenings with four aartis a day. Shrinath Dham Haveli in Matthews has six darshan windows a day. Trimurti Temple and BAPS do not post daily hours as text, so call them. Today's timings for each place are at the top of this page, taken from each temple's own site.

Is there a Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) temple in Charlotte?

What should I wear to a temple in Charlotte?

Modest clothes that cover shoulders and knees, and shoes off at the door. Trimurti and BAPS both say so on their own sites, and Trimurti rents a shawl or dhoti for $5. At a gurdwara everyone covers their head and takes off their shoes, which is general Sikh practice.
