What "pure veg" means on this page

These are restaurants whose own listing says the kitchen is entirely vegetarian. That is a different claim from a restaurant with good vegetarian options, and it is the distinction most people are actually searching for. If a place has moved in either direction since we last checked, tell us and we will correct it.

Jain food

Jay Bhavani in Pineville publishes a Jain menu on its own site. Beyond that, we are not going to tell you which kitchens will cook without onion and garlic, because that is a question only the kitchen can answer on the day. Call and ask directly. Most places here will try if you give them notice.
