Charlotte Utsob, the Bengali community group that also runs a Durga Puja, holds its Diwali celebration on Saturday, November 7, from 5:30 PM at 8001 Stonehaven Dr in Waxhaw. The group invites Bengali and Indian families and friends from across Charlotte and the Carolinas. Its page lists lighting diyas, fireworks, music and cultural programs, a festive dinner, and plenty of time to sit and talk, which Bengalis call adda. Registration is on the Utsob website, and the evening is planned for families, friends and the wider Utsob community.
